The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of emotional skills training on the dimensions of family efficiency in Isfahan in the outbreak of the corona. The statistical population of this study was the parents with children educating in primary schools in 1998-99. To select a sample, 32 couples (64 people) were selected from the parents of primary school students and randomly divided into experimental and control groups. The main hypothesis of the study was to investigate the effect of emotional skills training on the dimensions of family efficiency in outbreak of the corona. The questionnaire (SFI) was designed by Beavers and Hampson (1990) to assess an individual's perception of family performance. The structure of this questionnaire is consistent with Beavers' model of family functioning. The independent variable was emotional skills training which was adjusted in eight sessions and taught to the experimental group. The results showed that emotional skills training increases the dimensions of family efficiency in the outbreak of the corona and there is a significant difference between the results of the control and experimental groups (P <0.01).
