The aim of this study was to predict burnout based on personality traits and self-efficacy in primary teachers in Kerman. The research method was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population of this study included all primary school teachers in Kerman in the academic year of 1398-99 in the number of 145 people. Using the numerical sampling method, 145 teachers were selected as a sample, of which 132 were Participated in the research. Measurement tools were the Maslash Burnout Questionnaire (1981), the Neo Costa and McCurry (1992) Five-Factor Personality Questionnaire, and the Scherrer et al. (1979) Self-Efficacy Questionnaire. Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression using SPSS-22 software were used to analyze the data. The results showed that personality traits and self-efficacy were able to predict burnout. According to the results, by increasing the level of self-efficacy and improving the personality traits of primary teachers, burnout can be prevented.
