Background and Objectives: Despite the evident need for support and guidance, many adolescents are reluctant to seek help from school counselors. . This study aimed to develop and validate the School Counselor Attitude Questionnaire (SCAQ). Methods: This correlational quantitative study was conducted on second-cycle high school students in Ardakan during the 2023–2024 academic year. Due to practical constraints, voluntary sampling was used. Instruments included the 10-item SCAQ, the Attitude Toward Seeking Professional Psychological Help Scale, and the Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale. Data from 273 participants were analyzed using SPSS 26 and AMOS 24. Findings: Exploratory factor analysis revealed a single-factor structure explaining 58.31% of the variance, with item-total correlations > 0.50. Convergent validity was confirmed by a significant positive correlation with professional help-seeking attitudes (r = 0.57, p < 0.01) and discriminant validity by a significant negative correlation with fear of negative evaluation (r = −0.44, p < 0.01). Confirmatory factor analysis showed factor loadings > 0.40 and good fit indices. Cronbach’s α was 0.92. Conclusion: The SCAQ is a valid and reliable tool for assessing adolescents’ attitudes toward school counselors.
