The Effect of Traditional &Integration Method of Teaching Physical Education on Learning Math & Fundamental Skills of Second grade of Elementary Students

Abstract

The aim of this study was to the effect of traditional and integration method of teaching physical education on learning Math & fundamental skills in girl students of second grade in elementary schools.

This research was a semi-experimental and statistical population included 1250 female elementary school students of second grade in city of Khoy in the academic year of 2017-2018. Using multi-stage cluster sampling method, 30 students were selected and randomly assigned two groups )15 girls for traditional and 15 for integration). During this ten week in traditional group, physical education, Fundamental skills and Math were taught in traditional method (separated from each other) while in the integration group, Math were integration with the physical education curriculum. The data was analyzed using ,U-Mann Whitney tests, independent t test.
