Prioritizing the effective Factors of Job-motivation of Educational Sciences Students at Farhangian University of Shahid Hasheminejad Campus in Mashhad Based on Herzberg's Theory

Abstract

Knowing the factors affecting teachers' job motivation is effective in ncreasing the efficiency and academic achievement of students. The purpose of the research is to prioritize the factors affecting the job motivation of students at Shahid Hasheminejad University of Mashhad. In this research, the job motivation questionnaire was used based on the Herzberg Health Motivation Theory. The statistical population of this research is about 250 undergraduate students  of science education (entrance 92)in Shahid Hasheminejad campus.
This study was conducted using descriptive research method (surveying) and field design. By examining questionnaires distributed randomly among 100 sample students, external factors were considered as more effective in student job motivation. Among the external factors, the improvement of teachers' relations with an average of 54.4, increased attention to the characteristics of managers with a mean of 4.19 and the right to teachers for teachers with a mean of 4/08 in order of priority for students in this university are the most important factors in increasing their job motivation. Among the internal factors, there are 88. 3 growth opportunities and then the nature of working with an average of 3.82 have a greater impact on their job motivation.
In general, the most important factor on enhancing the student’s job motivation is the sense of being helpful to the society by teaching. The next is the manager's ability to address teachers' issues and then the appropriateness of the rights they receive are important to their life's needs. And the last one is how much teachers' salary meets their needs.
