The Relationship between Psychological Capital with Occupational Function and Organizational Commitment of Darreh Shahr Elementary School Teachers

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between psychological capital with occupational function and organizational commitment of elementary school teachers. The present study is a practical research in terms of purpose and a correlative one in terms of method. The statistical society of this study includes all teachers of the primary school of Salas Babajani in 1396. Using cluster random sampling method, 120 subjects were selected as sample size. Descriptive statistical methods such as frequency distribution tables, charts ... were used for analyzing the data and for testing hypotheses, the correlative method and regression analysis were used. In order to collect information, three different questionnaires were used:  the psychological capital questionnaire, the organizational commitment questionnaire, and the occupational function questionnaire. The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between the dimensions of psychological capital with occupation commitment and organizational functions of elementary school teachers, in that the dimensions of psychological capital improve occupational commitment and organizational function of teachers. According to the results, providing an atmosphere with hope, optimism, tolerance and a sense of efficiency will improve teacher’s quality of teaching and further improve learning in elementary schools.
