Abstract
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between technology acceptance and problem solving and some other fields related to the first secondary school in Damghan in the academic year of 1977-98. A sample of 283 high school students in the city of Damghan was selected by two-stage cluster random sampling and two questionnaires were completed by Hepner PSI problem solving questionnaire and TAM technology acceptance questionnaire. The research method was applied in terms of purpose and in nature of correlation. Pearson correlation, regression correlation and t-test were used for data analysis. The results showed that technology acceptance and problem solving had a positive relationship and there was also a positive relationship between educational attainment and technology problem solving but no significant difference was found between girls and boys in technology acceptance and problem solving. The two components were identical.
